The people who do the work
Everyone below is on staff, in Spain or Ukraine. The engineers who scope your project are the ones who build it, and they stay on it through launch and after.
Engineer by background, running Smart-UI since 2018. Builds and leads the delivery teams, owns projects end to end, and negotiates the international contracts behind them - accountable for what ships, from first scope to launch.
Runs delivery on multi-team projects: scope, milestones, and the conversations that keep both honest. Protects the team from thrash and the client from surprises, which usually turn out to be the same job.
Leads a delivery team and writes code on it. Chooses the stack for each project, reviews what ships, and brings on the developers who join it.
Five years across the stack: Node.js, Express, TypeScript, Next.js and React, and the API integrations between them. Comfortable owning a feature from schema through to screen.
Builds sites from promo pages through to working online stores, mostly WordPress and WooCommerce with Advanced Custom Fields. Optimises for the people who have to edit them afterwards.
React and TypeScript, on applications from small internal tools to large dashboards. Responsive layouts and the interaction states that get skipped when a deadline is close.
Seven years of front-end: React, Next.js, TypeScript and GraphQL, with WordPress and SCSS where a project calls for it. Builds interfaces that hold up on a slow connection.
Backends in Django, FastAPI and Flask, with the deployment underneath them: Nginx, Docker and CI/CD. Reads front-end code well enough to debug across the boundary.
