Project Overview:
The site is developed using the WordPress platform and supplemented with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). Specially configured ACF functionality allows you to quickly and efficiently manage content, providing a convenient interface for editing information. The design is characterized by a modern and aesthetically pleasing appearance, and also takes into account the needs of the school community.

Figma: A robust tool for creating detailed wireframes and high-fidelity mockups. Figma facilitates collaboration among team members and stakeholders, allowing for real-time feedback and iterative improvements. Its component-based design system ensures consistency across all pages
React.js: A JavaScript library used for building dynamic and highly responsive user interfaces. React's component-based architecture ensures scalability and code reusability. It was chosen for its ability to deliver a seamless user experience with fast rendering.
WordPress: Leveraged as a CMS for ease of content updates and management. Its intuitive admin interface allows non-technical users to make updates effortlessly while maintaining the site's integrity.
Selenium: Automated testing tool used to ensure functionality across different browsers and devices. Selenium helps identify and fix any UI or UX inconsistencies. Postman: Utilized for testing API endpoints, ensuring robust and error-free server communication.
AWS: Amazon Web Services provides reliable cloud hosting. AWS ensures the website's uptime, scalability, and security. It offers features like auto-scaling and backup solutions for optimal performance.

Discovery
Spoke to the school about how prospective parents choose, and what they need to see before they book a visit.
Strategy & Planning
Planned the site around the enrolment journey: the Montessori approach first, then the programmes, then the practical detail parents ask about.
Design
Designed warm, photography-led pages that show the classrooms as they are, with a layout that stays calm on a long curriculum page.
Development
Built on WordPress with Advanced Custom Fields, so staff edit programmes and news through labelled fields rather than a freeform editor.
QA Testing
Tested the enquiry and visit-booking forms, and checked that every editable field degrades sensibly when the school leaves it blank.
Launch & Handover
Launched the site and trained staff on the custom fields, so term updates do not need a developer.
