Una Providore
Una Providore is a premium website for a fine food provider in Sydney, offering an elevated experience for exploring gourmet products and seasonal specialties.

Project Overview:
The Una Providore website was crafted to reflect the brand's dedication to fine food and rich culinary heritage. Our goal was to design a sleek platform where users can browse products, explore seasonal offerings, and engage with the brand. The design emphasizes elegant aesthetics and intuitive navigation, ensuring flawless usability across all devices
Challenges:
- Seasonal catalogue: a range that rotates through the year, without a rebuild each season.
- Editorial and commerce together: product browsing that still reads as a brand, not a grid.
- Photography weight: large produce imagery that must not cost load time on a phone.
- Editable structure: new content blocks added by the team without disturbing the page.
Objectives:
- Improve Usability: Simplify navigation and enhance user experience.
- Ensure Accessibility: Optimize for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Showcase Information: Present key content clearly.
- Enhance Performance: Improve load times and responsiveness.

Integrated secure payment systems via Stripe and PayPal to support transactions for tournament entries, betting, and merchandise purchases.
Developed an admin panel for managing tournaments, updating schedules, and moderating user content.
Developed a mobile-optimized version to allow players to join tournaments, access rankings, and engage with features seamlessly on any device.
Performed comprehensive testing with Jest and Cypress to validate functionality, fix bugs, and ensure a seamless experience under heavy user traffic. Included performance testing to handle simultaneous live tournaments.
Deployed the platform on AWS Cloud with Docker containers and NGINX for scalability, stability, and secure global access. Integrated GitHub Actions for automated CI/CD pipelines.
Process:
Discovery
Worked through the Una Providore range with the owners to learn how customers actually shop fine food, and what seasonal rotation means for a catalogue.
Strategy & Planning
Mapped the catalogue into browsable categories and seasonal collections, and agreed the page templates the brand would need as the range grows.
Design
Designed an editorial storefront that lets produce photography lead, with typography and spacing chosen to carry the brand's culinary positioning.
Development
Built the storefront and product browsing to be fast on a phone in a kitchen, with content blocks the team can reorder without a developer.
QA Testing
Tested the browse and enquiry paths across phones, tablets and desktop, and checked the layout holds when a seasonal product has no image yet.
Launch & Handover
Launched the site and handed over the content structure, so seasonal ranges can be added and retired in-house.
